CouchSync keeps a film in step for people watching it apart, and puts their cameras and voices next to it.
Where the video comes from
CouchSync hosts no films and stores no video. Titles and streams come from sources you add yourself, and your browser fetches them directly — this site never fetches, proxies, caches or relays their content, and a room carries only the position of the playhead, not the media.
We ship no directory of third-party sources, curated or otherwise. What we bundle is a small catalogue of freely licensed films that is ours, and listings that describe films rather than fetch them. You can remove any of it from Sources.
Credits
Film and series listings — titles, artwork, ratings, genres and runtimes — come from The Movie Database, a community-built database, by way of a bundled listings source.
